Jalen Hurts continues to try to prove he is not settling for last year’s performance as the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback. In a year where offensive inconsistency reigned far too often in Philly, widespread staff changes for 2026 will hopefully make a difference for Hurts’ unit. The veteran quarterback is not depending on those, though.

Hurts is also focused on improving as an individual. Jalen Hurts working out with Scot Loeffler Hurts still has a relationship with Scot Loeffler, the Eagles’ quarterbacks coach from 2025. He has also recently worked out with QB trainer Quincy Avery.

Avery is well-respected for his work with the position and helps plenty of pro quarterbacks around the NFL. Hurts posted about his recent training with Loeffler, and plenty of folks took notice. Calling on an old friend for tips is not an uncommon occurrence in the NFL, and this is just the latest example of precisely that for the Eagles starter.
