The Detroit Pistons added to their NBA-record home losing streak Sunday night in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs. The 1-seed Pistons, who went 60-22 in the regular season, lost to the 8-seed Magic, 112-101 on Sunday, April 19, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. It's their 11th straight home playoff loss , dating to the 2008 Eastern Conference finals.
That includes an 0-9 mark in playoff games at Little Caesars Arena. The Pistons' last home playoff win came in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at The Palace of Auburn Hills against the eventual NBA champion Boston Celtics on May 26, 2008 – a 94-75 win to even the series. Antonio McDyess led the Pistons in the win with 21 points and 16 rebounds, and Rip Hamilton scored 20.
