A former Panthers QB and third-round pick has been traded in a "blockbuster" UFL trade.

A former Carolina Panthers quarterback is on the move. As announced on Sunday afternoon, the United Football League's Birmingham Stallions have traded Matt Corral to the Orlando Storm. Corral, who spent his first professional campaign as a member of the Panthers, is headed to Orlando alongside defensive end Amani Bledsoe in exchange for fellow ex-NFL quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

He missed out on what would haven been his true rookie season later that summer, after sustaining a Lisfranc injury during a preseason outing against the New England Patriots. The Panthers waived Corral the next summer.
