Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe reacts to his first playoff game in Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics on the road.

BOSTON -- The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Boston Celtics 123-91 in Game 1 of their Round 1 series on Sunday afternoon. It was a tough game all around as the Sixers did not match the intensity that the Celtics brought to the forefront in this contest. On a positive note, rookie VJ Edgecombe was able to get some playoff reps under his belt.

It was a rough showing in his playoff debut as he shot just 6-for-16 from the floor, 0-for-5 from deep, and had three rebounds and three assists. It was just not a performance many are used to when it comes to Edgecombe, but if there's one thing about this rookie, he always finds a way to bounce back. "I’m gonna be honest, intensity," Edgecombe said of his first playoff game.

"They're a good team. I just think for us, it’s just we weren't making shots. Wide open shots.

I'm gonna say wide-open. I mean, butt naked open. Just shots—ball going in and out.
