Roman Reigns is once again holding gold around his waist as he beat CM Punk in an epic main event at WrestleMania 42 to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
The match, and Night 2 in general, had a true WrestleMania feel to it, blowing Night 1 out of the water. In the end, Reigns, who was by Punk’s side in 2012 as a member of The Shield, overcame his demons and beat Punk to return to the top of the mountain. The match was an epic main course for what was a satisfying night for WWE.
“Mami” is back to being a champion as Rhea Ripley beat Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women's Championship. Ripley overcame interference from Michin and B-Fab, as well as Jade’s power. She had Iyo Sky by her side, and Ripley continued her good luck at WrestleMania with a win.
Finn Balor returned to his “Demon” form for the first time in years and earned a deserved WrestleMania moment by beating former Judgement Day brother Dominik Mysterio. Trick Williams showcased his skills to an audience that wanted everything to do with him and nothing to do with Sami Zayn. Williams, with Lil Yachty, beat Zayn to win the United States Championship.
