With Justin Herbert sacked 54 times last season (third-most in football), it was clear that L. A. 's most prized asset needed better protection.

Tyler Biadasz, a three-time Pro Bowler, was signed in free agency, a good move, but more is needed for Herbert. Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt returning will be a big boost, but as we saw last season, if one of them goes down injured, things go south in a hurry. Which is why, for NFL.
