The Los Angeles Dodgers lost their second game in a row to the Colorado Rockies, 9-6, in the third game of their series Sunday. The Dodgers jumped to an early 3-0 lead, but couldn’t prevent the long ball in the hitter-friendly Coors Field and ultimately gave up their advantage. Roki Sasaki got the ball for the fourth time this season in the outing, and had a strong start until the Rockies figured him out in the fourth inning.
He pitched 4. 2 innings in the ballgame, allowing three runs on seven hits with two strikeouts. Ohtani’s double extended his on-base streak to 51 games, which ranks third all-time for the Dodgers in the modern era.
