The first of five PGA Tour Champions majors in 2026 has become the first senior major win on the resume of Stewart Cink. The reigning Charles Schwab Cup winner won his seventh senior title and first major on Sunday at the 2026 Senior PGA Championship at the Concession in Bradenton, Florida. Cink started the final round in a four-way tie for second, a shot back of Keith Horne, but in the final round, Cink went on a tear on his first nine, with an eagle on No.

7 and back-to-back birdies on Nos. 8 and 9. That got him to 15 under and put him up by two.

Cink later birdied Nos. 11, 12 and 14 to build a five-shot lead. After Ben Crane birdied the 15th, Cink made birdie on the par-5 17th to make it a five-shot lead once again.

Cink went on to par the last to set the course record with a Sunday 63. Cink had six bogeys over the first three days but he avoided bogey on Sunday. In fact, he went bogey-free over his last 28 holes.

Cink's previous best in a senior major was a runner-up in last year's U. S. Senior Open.
