Collin Morikawa unsure when he will play golf again after final round of the RBC Heritage

Morikawa began the 2026 PGA Tour season in fine fashion, with one win and two top-seven finishes to his name in five starts.
However, disaster struck after just one hole of The Players Championship when he felt a twinge in his back after just one hole of the tournament. Morikawa โs next start came at The Masters, where he secured a top 10 finish, and he was even better at the RBC Heritage this week. Morikawa admitted that he is โvery scaredโ out on the golf course right now, due to the fear of his back giving way. But when will we see him in action again? Collin Morikawa unsure when he will play golf again Morikawa spoke to reporters after firing a final round 67 at Harbour Town Golf Links.
He was asked how he plans to tackle his back problem when he gets home. โ Yeah, just hitting a little bit more normal shots and seeing how comfortable I can get, โ the 29-year-old said. โ Itโs not really the place to be testing, middle of a tournament, or any day out here for me, especially with where Iโm at.
But when Iโm at home next week, Iโll be able to see how comfortable can I really get, and hopefully we can just get back to normal in a short period of time. โ He was then asked how disappointing it is for him to not be 100 per cent healthy right now.
