The Boston Celtics jumped out to an early lead in Game 1 of their first-round series with the Philadelphia 76ers and never looked back, never trailing in their wire-to-wire, 123-91 beatdown of the Sixers. The Celtics dominated the contest from the rip despite the shot margin ending in a 90-90 tie, holding Philly to just 17 percent from beyond the arc and 39 percent from the floor overall on a night they hit 50 percent of their shots. Boston narrowly won the battle of the board 43-40, but logged 31 assists to the 76ers' 20, with the Celtics picked Philadelphia's pocket 7 times to 3.

Add in Boston forcing 15 turnovers to their own 10, and it was going to be a tough night for Nick Nurse and co. no matter how one slices it. With the win, the Celtics improve to a 1-0 series start.
