(Photo by Ed Mulholland/Zuffa LLC) UFC 327 provided some of the best action so far in 2026 but many of those highlight-reel finishes could result in lengthy layoffs for the fighters involved. The Florida Athletic Commission has now revealed the medical suspensions stemming from the April 11 Miami card with a total of six athletes receiving indefinite layoffs.

Due to medical laws, the commission doesnโ€™t reveal the nature of the injuries suffered, but all of the fighters who receive an indefinite suspension have to receive medical clearance before being allowed to compete again. In the main event, Carlos Ulberg suffered a gruesome knee injury early in his fight against Jiri Prochazka but he somehow gutted it out and delivered one of the most stunning knockouts in recent UFC history. Ulberg already underwent surgery for a torn ACL but a timeline for his return hasnโ€™t been determined.

UFC CEO Dana White revealed after UFC Winnipeg on Saturday that Ulberg plans to stay in Las Vegas for the foreseeable future to rehab and recover with the benefit of the UFC Performance Institute rather than return home to New Zealand. Prochazka also received an indefinite suspension after he was knocked out late in the first round to cost him a chance at becoming a two-time UFC champion. Heโ€™s since returned home where he welcomed the birth of his first daughter, but itโ€™s unknown what injuries he may have suffered during the title fight at UFC 327.

Curtis Blaydes also received an indefinite suspension after he went to war against Josh Hokit in one of the craziest heavyweight fights of all time. The battle played out across all three rounds with Blaydes and Hokit both scoring a brutal amount of damage before the final horn. In the end, Blaydes dropped a unanimous decision and suffered a fractured orbital bone and a broken nose during the fight.
