WWE shares Cody Rhodes eye injury update after WrestleMania 42
WWE champion Cody Rhodes laid it all on the line during Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday night. Rhodes defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event. During the match, Rhodes suffered a gnarly eye injury that left his eye completely swollen shut.
WWE has since provided an update on Rhodes’ status, confirming he suffered an orbital injury and is not medically cleared to return to competition.
