"You've got to enjoy it and then that allows you to take advantage of it," said Garza.

Luka Garza is excited for the 2026 NBA Playoffs, and can you blame him? His current run with the Boston Celtics will likely see the Iowa alum play some meaningful minutes in the postseason, something new to him despite several deep runs with the Minnesota Timberwolves in a limited role in the past. "I'm honestly extremely excited to see the Garden and what it's like in the playoffs, but also I'm excited to go through this journey with this group," he explained in a recent interview .

"I think we have a special group in terms of just so many different guys being able to impact the game, and everyone stepping up for one another," added the Boston big man. "So it's going to be cool to see us progress through the playoffs. " "I've been in that position for most of my career, and obviously still am at certain points where you're dying and waiting for that opportunity," said Garza.

"And especially some of the guys who really hadn't seen any real rotation minutes yet, so you know I know how big these games are, I know how important it is," continued the Washington, D. C. native.

"And in that moment, I just wanted to implore everybody to be present and take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy it, because we're lucky to have it. " "It doesn't come around often; there's seasons where you never get that opportunity and so when it comes you can't take it for granted, you've got to enjoy it and then that allows you to take advantage of it.
