Mass brawl between Bayern and Stuttgart fans outside stadium

Clashes broke out when masked supporters from both clubs met between an underground station and the stadium.
A large police contingent used batons and pepper spray to separate the groups. Police said officers were able to calm the situation quickly. According to a spokeswoman for Munich police, around 100 fans were processed.
How many of them were subsequently taken into custody was still unclear. The number of injured was also unknown. "We do not tolerate this kind of violence ahead of sporting events in Munich," the spokeswoman said.
Police are investigating the background to the clashes, which came before Bayern were set to clinch the Bundesliga title.
