When I came up for air, well… Back in the early 90s, my Dad—he a veteran of old Verne Gagne vs The Crusher or Dr. X clashes—took me to a Target Center house show where we saw the immortal Hulk Hogan team up with Rowdy Roddy Piper to take on the nefarious “Nature Boy” Ric Flair & Sid Justice in the run-up to Wrestlemania VIII . A few years later, we went to the Fargodome and witnessed the likes of Bret Hart & Bam Bam Bigelow (his flying headbutt off the top rope —he was 350+ lbs—was incredible) mix it up.
