Penn State stays hot, lands 2027 offensive line commitment
The Penn State Nittany Lions have secured another commitment, landing in-state offensive lineman Jon Sassic.
The Penn State Nittany Lions have made another addition to their 2027 recruiting class, securing a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Jon Sassic on Sunday, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett . The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder has over a dozen scholarship offers from programs across the country, but Penn State was able to convince him to stay home. It did not take long for Matt Campbell's program to land Sassic, to whom they extended a scholarship offer during a visit on March 24.
He was set to take official visits to see the NC State Wolfpack, Virginia Tech Hokies, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Pitt Panthers during the summer, but those seem unlikely to happen now that he has committed to the Nittany Lions. He does not currently have an official visit scheduled with Penn State. Sassic is ranked as the No.
