Can LSU basketball land coveted transfer forward from SEC rival?

LSU men's basketball may host one of the top-ranked transfer forwards in the portal as Will Wade looks to build his first roster.

LSU men's basketball is yet to earn a commitment from a transfer portal prospect, but new head coach Will Wade has circled several key targets. Among them could be Kentucky transfer forward Mouhamed Dioubate. Per Colby Faria of Tiger Bait, Dioubate is expected to visit LSU.

A six-foot-seven forward, Dioubate is going in search of his third school after spending last year at Kentucky. He began his collegiate career at Alabama, playing two seasons in Tuscaloosa. Part of the 2023 signing class, he was unranked coming out of high school.

Last year, Dioubate played in 31 games with 10 starts. He averaged 8. 8 points and 5.
