Bleacher Report dubbed this playmaking defender as an ideal pick for the Chicago Bears in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and the Chicago Bears will have a big decision to make with the 25th overall pick. Depending on how the board falls, Chicago could go several directions with their first-round selection. There's no doubt that the defensive line, both edge rusher and tackle, and safety are glaring needs heading into the draft.

But general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Ben Johnson operate on a best-available mentality, one that led them to tight end Colston Loveland and wide receiver Luther Burden III last year. When looking at the 25th pick, who would be the ideal selection? Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski identified one ideal pick for every team in the first round of the draft, and it's no surprise that Chicago's selection came on defense with Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, arguably the most-mocked player to the Bears this offseason.

Toledo's Emmanuel McNeil-Warren definitely fits the role left by Brisker. He's going to set the tone by flying downhill and making plays. The Bears must wonder if the former Rocket will be available since he should be in play starting with the 18th overall pick and the rival Minnesota Vikings.

Chicago did finish among the bottom four defenses last year. The organization's decision to move past two veteran defensive backs isn't a bad one. It simply has to reinforce a weakened area by adding much-needed talent.
