Former Nebraska basketball power forward Josiah Allick won the NBA G League Championship with the Greensboro Swarm, the G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, who swept the Stockton Kings in straight games. Allick was a key player for the team, averaging 6. 6 points, 5.
7 rebounds, and 1. 0 blocks over 17. 2 minutes per game in 28 games for the Swarm.
The Lincoln native was a key player for the Huskers during his final collegiate season. He transferred to Nebraska from New Mexico State for the 2023-24 season and immediately became an impact player. He averaged 7.
3 points and 5. 4 rebounds per game, and helped the program reach the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Following his collegiate career, he played in the New Zealand basketball league in 2025.
