Another Wisconsin men's hockey senior earns AHL contract
Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey forward Simon Tassy has signed an ATO with the Bakersfield Condors. The Condors are the AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers and are giving Tassy a shot to prove himself after a stellar collegiate career. The senior's time in Madison came to an end in the National Championship game where Wisconsin fell to Denver, 2-1.
Now, Tassy has a chance to continue playing. Bakersfield revealed Tassy would be switching jersey numbers from No. 11 to No.

Either way, it gives Tassy a chance to play in the AHL, which is a stepping stone to joining Connor McDavid in Edmonton. Tassy appeared in 110 games for the Badgers and finished with 62 points. He just put up a career high in goals (14) as his time in Madison came to an end with 32 career goals and 30 assists.
