Calallen Wildcats defeat London Pirates 2-1 in tight road matchup
The Calallen Wildcats defeated the London Pirates 2-1 in high school baseball action at Pirate Stadium. It was a tightly contested matchup from start to finish, with both teams showing strong pitching and defense throughout the night. Neither side was able to pull away early, as runs were hard to come by and every inning carried added pressure.
The game remained tied heading into the late innings before Calallen was able to break through, scoring the winning run in the top of the seventh inning to take the lead for good. With the win, both Calallen and London now have about a week left in the regular season before turning their attention to the playoffs, which is set to begin in late April. More from 3NEWS on KIIITV.
