Thunderbolts fall to Roanoke in second game

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Evansville Thunderbolts played in game two of their playoff series against Roanoke in the President’s Cup semifinals. The game started with both teams at one goal a piece the bolts had a hard time holding on as Roanoke pulled away scoring two more heading into the third period.

The Bolts were able to rally back and tie it at three goals each. However, it was not enough as Evansville’s opponent would put the nail in the coffin. The Bolts dropped this one to the Rail Yard Dawgs 4-3.

The series is now even at one to one after the Thunderbolts beat Roanoke 3-1 on Friday. It’s a best of 5 series. Game three will take place here in Evansville at 7 p.
