BUTTE — Rylee Bigelow, Zeila Wagner and Ada Thiel each won two events, the Glacier boys won every timed event except one and the Wolfpack swept a track and field dual with Butte High Saturday at Bulldog Memorial Stadium. Will Astle and LIam Palmer were double-winners for the Glacier boys, who out-pointed Butte 97-48. Astle won the discus with a personal-record mark of 151 feet, 4 inches — a top-five mark in Class AA — and took the shot put at 48-10.

Meanwhile the Pack broke the tape in every race except the 1,600. Among the top marks was sophomore Liam Palmer’s 40. 32 seconds in the 300 hurdles, a PR and the third-best time in AA.

He also hit his personal best in the 110 hurdles at 15. 53. The Pack won the 100 (Kyle West), 200 (Brodie Cooke), 400 (Brecken Evenson, with Owen Thiel second), 800 (Gabe Ackerly) and 3,200 (Colton Perrins) as well as both relays.

Eli Barney won the javelin for Glacier, while Spencer Hodge claimed the pole vault and Kruz Robinson won the triple jump. Robinson’s time of 41. 88 in the 300 hurdles put him sixth in AA.

Bigelow took the discus and shot put and placed second in the javelin for the Glacier girls, who won 99-46. Teammate Lucy Holloway won the javelin. Thiel, a freshman, had a pretty rare double: She won the 400 as well as the 3,200.
