The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a trade with the New York Giants for three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, a source confirmed to The Enquirer on April 18. The Bengals gave the Giants their first-round pick, No. 10 overall, in this year’s draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, to acquire Lawrence.
Lawrence, the No. 17 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, fills a major need for the Bengals on defense. This trade also symbolizes the franchise’s willingness to make a big swing in their quest to win a Super Bowl.
