Liv Morgan wins WWE Women's World Championship at Wrestlemania 42
There's a new Women's World Champion in WWE and she's New Jersey's own Liv Morgan. Morgan, an Elmwood Park native, defeated Stephanie Vaquer on night one of Wrestlemania 42 to claim the championship. Morgan is now a three-time champ.
Here's an excerpt of USA TODAY's analysis of the match: "It was obvious The Judgment Day was going to play a role, it was just a matter if it would play a critical role in match. It influenced, but definitely didn't overtake the ending, allowing Morgan to clearly execute what she needed in order to win. " Morgan also debuted a new song "Trouble" for the event as backup dancers ripped her clothes off before the match.
