Auburn football QB Byrum Brown's biggest A-Day lesson? 'Play the next play'
Here's what Auburn football quarterback Byrum Brown said about his A-Day performance Saturday.
AUBURN — That was hardly the debut fans of Auburn football would've hoped for from the program's touted transfer quarterback. Byrum Brown didn't quite dazzle in Auburn 's A-Day spring game , logging 85 passing yards while completing 50% of his attempts and throwing two interceptions without a touchdown recorded. But the fifth-year senior and formerly South Florida standout wasn't filled with concern following the conclusion of Auburn's spring.
"Lessons? " Brown said when asked about his performance. "Really just play the next play.
That's it. That's all you can do. Don't worry about the last one.
Focus on the next one," adding that it's, "hard to get in a rhythm when you're not fully live. That's a part of it, but I'll be fine. Looking forward to the first game, to be honest.
