The Sixers are more than capable of going into TD Garden and stealing one ahead of this matchup and will look to lean on others to get it done. As far as the injury report is concerned, of course, Joel Embiid (post appendectomy surgery recovery) is out.
The big fella underwent the surgery on April 9 and is probably a ways away from a return to the floor. Coach Nick Nurse discussed Embiid's availability here at practice on Friday. Rookie big man Johni Broome (right knee surgery recovery) is not listed.
