Steelers receive bad news on Aaron Rodgers before NFL Draft
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero provided a key update on Aaron Rodgers before the 2026 NFL Draft and what it could mean for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Aaron Rodgers waiting game continues to hold the Pittsburgh Steelers hostage, as every projected timeline continues to be pushed further and further back. And that's likely once again the case following a new report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Reports previously indicated that the Steelers were anticipating having a decision before the 2026 NFL Draft , but Pelissero may have dashed those hopes following his latest comments.
“I have no anticipation Aaron Rodgers is going to announce anything prior to the draft,” Pelissero said via The Rich Eisen Show. “I know that Art Rooney II had indicated that they hoped it would be around then. I’ve not been told that.
