A flock of sheep nearly hit by foul ball in minor league baseball 'close shave'
We'd get being a bit sheepish after this.
A flock of sheep being herded by a sheepdog crashed a minor league baseball game for Agriculture Night and nearly got hit by a foul ball. That's a real sentence you just read. During a Friday night Rome Emperors game, a foul ball left the field of play and almost careened into a herd of clueless sheep casually grazing by the baseball diamond.
Two intrepid fans chased after the ball as the herding dog chased the sheep out of the way, presumably to make sure no more foul balls hurl toward the gaggle of sheep any time soon. What in the world?! That could have been baa-dā¦.

We imagine this flock will be a bit... sheepish to go back to a Rome Emperors game any time soon. This article originally appeared on For The Win: A flock of sheep nearly hit by foul ball in minor league baseball 'close shave'
