Martinez/Austin American-Statesman) Texas A&M had a scary sight at it's spring game Saturday at Kyle Field. Linebacker Daymion Sanford went down with an apparent ankle injury with 1 minute, 49 seconds left in the first half. They shut down the half and went into the locker room as a result.
With at least one starting linebacker from last season heading to the NFL, Sanford figured to play a big role on the team this fall. Sanford set career highs with 57 total tackles and 3½ sacks for a Texas A&M team that made the College Football Playoff for the first time in school history.
