RB Leipzig beat Frankfurt thanks to second half turnaround Leipzig's Vandevoordt saved an early shot from Jonathan Burkhardt for Frankfurt within the first minutes as the hosts showed signs of an European fight. During the 81st minute, Conrad Harder secured the victory for the east German side with a third for the away team with an impact substitution goal through the legs of Frankfurt's Zetterer.
