Kiper says Dallas Cowboys may be ready for another blockbuster trade
The Cowboys may propose to make another major trade during the draft.
ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. dropped a bomb today about the Dallas Cowboys and who they will pick in the upcoming draft. He thinks the Cowboys are ready to offer both of their first-round draft picks to the Browns to move up to No.
6 to grab Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles. This would be a shocking move for Dallas, but owner Jerry Jones has made it known for the first time in a long time that the Cowboys plan to be serious contenders this offseason. The Browns would be crazy not to make this deal.
They would have four first-round draft picks to do anything they want with them, including pursuing the likes of Ty Simpson, who many think they want to add to their QB room. But is it worth giving away two first-rounders for one player? Itโs not as insane as the New Orleans 1999 draft when they gave up all eight picks in total for running back Ricky Williams.
But unlike the Cowboys, the Browns have several holes to fill, and they could use all the help they can get. Donโt be surprised, however, if the Cowboys make a move to shock the draft.
