Toni Nadal shares whether he believes Carlos Alcaraz can complete the Calendar Slam this year

Even though he’s currently sidelined with an injury, there’s still plenty of confidence that he’ll be back in time to defend his Roland Garros title and stay on track for another historic goal: the Calendar Grand Slam. The ability is there, but right now it looks like there’s just one major obstacle in his way. Toni Nadal has now weighed in on Alcaraz’s pursuit of a feat that only two players have achieved in men’s tennis history.

He didn’t just hand it to Alcaraz without context, though. Toni made it clear he thinks the current lack of serious competition is part of why this chance even exists.
He went on: “It’s possible, though not easy. I would give him around a 75% chance at Roland Garros, and about 60% at Wimbledon and the US Open. “He is only 22 and look at what he has already achieved.
