5 players on offense Jets could target via trade during 2026 NFL Draft
The NFL Draft is almost here and teams could make certain players available that could help improve the New York Jets roster.
The NFL Draft is less than a week away and the 2026 season is make or break for the New York Jets and head coach Aaron Glenn. The Jets were very active in free agency, signing veteran players who not only have experience playing for Glenn, but also to serve as leaders for the younger players on the roster. The cupboard in free agency is very bare and while the Jets could still look for talent at bargain prices, there will be plenty of players available on the trade market over draft weekend.
New York could take advantage of another team's cap situation as they continue to make improvements to their roster before training camp begins in July. Here are five players on offense who could be available during draft weekend: Troy Franklin The Broncos receiving room got a little more crowded after the team’s blockbuster trade with Miami for Jaylen Waddle. The acquisition of Waddle to a receiver room that also includes Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr.
almost certainly will take targets away from Franklin, who was Denver's fourth-round pick in 2024. Franklin’s role expanded in his second season with the Broncos as he was targeted 104 times and finished with 65 receptions, 706 yards and six touchdowns. He’s still on his rookie deal, so it may require the Jets giving up a higher pick, but he would be the clear cut WR2 next to Garrett Wilson instead of fighting for targets with Mims Jr.
