The Georgia Bulldogs are finishing up their spring with their annual spring scrimmage, G-Day, in Sanford Stadium. The spring scrimmage, which is played at 1 p. m.
ET on Saturday, April 18 (televised on ESPN+ and SEC Network+), concludes Georgia's spring and moves the focus of Georgia football to fall camp and the start of the regular season. Georgia's 2026 season opener is against the Tennessee State Tigers on Sept. 5 at home.
Georgia is expected to be heavily favored against Tennessee State and then against Western Kentucky the following week to start the season. After a pair of non-Power Four opponents, Georgia will start SEC play on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sept. 19.
The Bulldogs open SEC play at home on Sept. 26 against the Oklahoma Sooners as Georgia and the rest of the SEC play nine-game conference schedules for the first season. Georgia is back-to-back defending SEC champions and is looking to return to the College Football Playoff with more success.
