After practice yesterday, Marco Sturm said that the Bruins played bigger and stronger than the Sabres; he also noted the importance of the fourth line in the upcoming series. Nikita Zadorov talked about staying disciplined, but he is not changing his style of play. The NHL playoffs begin today with three games starting at 3:00 PM ET.
They will carry on into the night, with another at 5:30 PM and the last, the Battle of Pennsylvania, at 8:00 PM. Elsewhere around the league, the Vancouver Canucks fired their GM yesterday morning. Jesperi Kotkaniemi is not happy in Carolina, and both the Blackhawks and Red Wings had their exit interviews.
