Pat Surtain and Jaylen Waddle are already hanging out in Florida

Denver Broncos star cornerback Pat Surtain and new wide receiver Jaylen Waddle were seen hanging out together in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this week. NFL barber Eddie Gomez shared a video on Instagram (that has since been re-shared on Twitter/X) showing Surtain getting a haircut, when in walks a smiling Waddle, dressed in a long-sleeved throwback Broncos shirt. Waddle and Surtain are close friends dating back to their playing days at the University of Alabama, where they were college roommates.

When the Broncos traded for Waddle in mid-March from the Miami Dolphins, one of the first people Waddle called was Surtain. Shortly after the trade , Surtain called Waddle a player who "makes the team better as a whole.
