John Cena at WrestleMania 2026: WWE icon isn't having FOMO after retiring
WrestleMania 42 will have John Cena as the host, and he is looking forward to his first role after retiring.
LAS VEGAS ā John Cena is at WrestleMania 42 , but for the first time in a long time, there isn't any pressure. Now retired , the WWE icon won't be wrestling anymore, but he still will have a hand in the massive event as the host for the two-day spectacle in Las Vegas . It's not exactly a match, but it's still an appearance on WWE's grand stage.
How could Cena be feeling? He's feeling just fine. "So much less stress," Cena told USA TODAY Sports.
It could be a bit awkward being in this position for him, especially since he'll be in the same building as where he was last year when he captured his record-breaking 17th WWE Championship, but he's relieved to not be preparing for a match. He has a job, but it's going to be a blast. "The emotions are fun and not FOMO (fear of missing out), not envy.
I've had plenty of WrestleManias where I've had a heavy backpack," Cena said. "I get to come in, I get to be a fan, I get to enjoy. This is fun.
