Should the Saints select Jordyn Tyson in the 2026 NFL Draft?

Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson’s stock has fluctuated throughout the 2026 NFL Draft cycle; however, he’s quickly gaining steam to be the New Orleans Saints’ selection at pick eight. Tyson’s a dangerous selection due to his worrisome injury history, but is worth the risk. His outstanding route running, superb athleticism, and IQ make him an ideal fit in the Saints’ offense.

Tyson’s medicals are a serious concern. The issues began in 2022 at Colorado when he tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL. After rehabbing in 2023, he had a strong 2024 campaign.

Unfortunately, he broke his collarbone late in the season, which caused him to miss the College Football Playoffs. His bad luck continued last season with his lingering hamstring problems, causing him to miss three games and a majority of the pre-draft cycle. Due to his absence from the pre-draft cycle, the Saints have emphasized meeting with Tyson.

They hosted the former Sun Devil for a top-30 visit, but he wasn’t able to participate in drills. Because of this, he hosted a private workout on Friday, April 17, which the Saints will be in attendance for. The interest is evident; Jordyn Tyson is an option for the Saints at pick 8 Tyson’s not only an option in the first round, but he should be the frontrunner.
