The offseason activities continue around the football world, including events, camps, and plenty of golf. The latest Kansas City Chiefs player to partake in a golf tournament hasn't officially suited up for the team yet. Athletes First recently hosted more than 70 NFL players and celebrities in Newport Beach for the annual Athletes First Classic.
The second annual celebrity golf tournament held ahead of the PGA TOUR Champions Hoag Classic featured many top names in the league. Participants this year included Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. , Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones, Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, and former Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles.
The competitive day on the course concluded with Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy and Chiefs quarterback Jake Haener capturing the 2026 Pacific Life Celebrity Classic title, earning bragging rights among a field of high-profile athletes and celebrities.
