Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is not attending the team's Phase 1 offseason program and is seeking a contract extension that would pay him as the starter.
Brissett is scheduled to make $9. 06 million against the salary cap in 2026 but has only $1. 5 million in guaranteed money remaining on his current deal.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday. According to Rapoport, the Cardinals appear willing to address the situation. They released Kyler Murray last month, and Brissett stepped in to start 12 games last season, completing 64.
