Palmer made his return to action in December, and despite a handful of promising performances he’s struggled to make an impact. Palmer revealed after the Port Vale game he’d turned a corner physically, and Chelsea need him somewhere near his best if they are to secure a top five finish.
With Chelseas struggling this season, there’s once again been speculation linking Palmer with a move to Manchester United. Chelsea have insisted Palmer is among their group of “untouchables,” and he’s now spoken on his future and insisted he’s not looking to move clubs. “I’ve got no plans to move club, and when I see it I just laugh,” he told The Guardian.
“Obviously Manchester is my home, all my family are there, but I don’t miss it. “Maybe I’ll miss it if I don’t go for three months or something. But then when I get home I think there’s nothing there for me anyway.
