All great news, and again, our best to Shadasia.

Shadasia Green was taken from the ring on a stretcher tonight following an upset TKO loss to Lani Daniels . Green, 36, looked exhausted in the eighth round of the fight, and when the ninth began, the now-former IBF and WBO super middleweight titleholder could do no more than stand up in her corner. She was unable to move further out into the fight, at which point Daniels came over and unloaded with several right hands that landed to Green’s head.

The referee did step in to stop the fight, giving Daniels, 37, the victory and the two world title belts, but when Green sat back down, and the situation quickly appeared scary. Green was unsteady on the stool and medical attention was brought in as quickly as possible, with Green taken from the ring on a stretcher and rushed to further medical care. We’ll let you know any updates that come in tonight, and all of us at Bad Left Hook send our best wishes to Shadasia Green, with hopes for a speedy and full recovery.
