Vince Velasquez gave the I-Cubs a solid start as he allowed just one run on five hits over 4.

2 innings. Velasquez walked four and struck out seven. Yacksel Rios pitched the bottom of the ninth, gave up a two-run home run and got the loss.

Rios allowed one hit, one walk and struck out one in the one inning of work. First baseman BJ Murray went 2 for 4 with an RBI single in the sixth inning. Murray also scored on an Owen Miller sacrifice fly in the second inning.
