BKB 53 results: ‘Smash’ Nelson retains, Jon Barnard upsets ‘Kid Gatti’ in Niagara Falls
BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing was back in action on Friday night (April 17) from inside the sold-out Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York. Headlining BKB 53: “The Harder They Fall” was the middleweight title fight between reigning champion and pound-for-pound king Lorawnt-T “Smash” Nelson and Mark “TNT” Griffin. Nelson won by first-round knockout.
Elsewhere on the card, “Untameable” Jon Barnard captured the lightweight crown by upsetting Jared “Kid Gatti” Grant, a rematch from their BKB 48 “No Contest” late last year. In addition, former UFC and PFL heavyweight Juan “The Kraken” Adams improved to 4-0 as a bare knuckle boxer (with four knockouts) by laying waste to Nate “The Yeti” Roberts.
