While some predict an easy series for Boston Celtics vs. 76ers, Sam Hauser expects a fight
"I mean, they're really good," explained Hauser.
While a lot of NBA analysts are predicting an easy series for the Boston Celtics vs. the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs, forward Sam Hauser is not looking down at Boston's opponent in the series. "I mean, they're really good," explained the Green Bay, Wisconsin native after a recent Celtics practice.
"They test your defense in a lot of ways, starting with )Tyrese) Maxey, the way he can get downhill. he's super fast," he added. "Paul George is a dynamic player and then, when Joel Embiid plays, he's obviously a big threat himself.
" "So, what we have to do to be successful, I think, is just rebound and get back in transition on defense," suggested the Boston sharpshooter. Health is always a part of any postseason series, and this one is no exception, as Hauser noted. "I don't think we played them at full strength all year, so that's where the film study is really important to see when they were full strength, how they played against other teams and what we might have to do to guard them and face them," he explained.
"But other than that, (we're) just trying to prepare and get ourselves ready too, and they've got to guard us too and play against us too – and we're really good. So, it's like a chess match a little bit. " Listen to "Havlicek Stole the Pod" on: Blue Wire: https://tiny.
