Yahoo Sports

Aaron Pico is ready to capitalize on the momentum from his first UFC win. After getting knocked out by Lerone Murphy in his octagon debut at UFC 319, Pico (14-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) rebounded with a unanimous decision win over fellow ex-Bellator standout Patricio Freire at UFC 327 . Pico was able to show off his full arsenal by mixing things up with his wrestling and boxing en route to a definitive decision win.

He is ready to make a turnaround as soon as summer. "Probably July or August – I want to keep the ball rolling," Pico told MMA Junkie Radio. "That's what I want to do is fight and just keep getting the experience.

Of course I can make (UFC 329). I didn't get beat too bad this fight. I'm a little sore, but other than that, I'm good.

So we'll see. " Pico still wants to get his loss to Murphy back. The 29-year-old was looking impressive before getting caught with a spinning back elbow towards the end of Round 1.

"The Top 15, anybody is a great fight,m so I'm just staying patient," Pico said. "Of course I want my rematch with Lerone eventually, and I would love the Movsar (Evloev fight). I would love all the top guys.
