MSU football to host 3-star S Rashaad Silver of Decatur, Ga. for official visit in June
Michigan State football has locked in an official visit with a safety prospect from Georgia. Rashaad Silver of Decatur, Ga. announced this week that he'll be taking an official visit to Michigan State in June.
According to a social media post from Silver, he will be visiting Michigan State on June 19. Silver is listed as a three-star safety prospect in the 2027 class. He has a recruiting rating of 86 in 247Sports' system, and ranks as the No.
94 safety in the class. Michigan State extended Silver an offer in late January and has quickly became one of his top schools out of a long list of interested suitors. He holds offers from nearly 30 schools, including notable programs such as Arkansas, Kansas, Wake Forest, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Purdue, UCF and West Virginia.
Along with his official visit to Michigan State, Silver is expected to visit Arkansas, Kansas and Wake Forest this summer.
