Most of that can be attributed to the fact their starting rotation is completely banged up, with their ace Kevin Gausman being the only true star performer. With that in mind, making a trade for another ace to add some depth to their rotation might not be a bad idea. Sports Illustrated’s Patrick McAvoy believes so as well, and proposes that the Jays make a deal with the Miami Marlins for their red-hot Cy Young ace, Sandy Alcantara.
