Stephen F. Austin cornerback Charles Demmings is one of the most intriguing small-school prospects in this draft class, and Brian Gutekunst and his staff have already shown some interest, hosting him on a top-30 visit ahead of the draft. Austin in the FCS. He enrolled back in 2021, and while he had the opportunity to transfer elsewhere later in his college career, Demmings opted to stay and finish what he started for the Lumberjacks. The result?

A five-year career that included two all-conference selections, 35 pass breakups, and nine interceptions, including a four-INT campaign this past season. The production and frame (6-foot-1 and 194 pounds) were intriguing as is, but Demmings started to turn even more heads with some of his athletic testing, which included a 4. 41 in the 40-yard dash, along with an 11-foot broad jump and 42-inch vertical.
